Mother's day and Easter are all looming on the horizon as are many events and celebrations this year. Sometimes it's hard to know what to give someone for a gift especially when certain occasions require that little extra thought.
A painting lasts a lifetime and can be treasured for years by the person receiving it. If you would like to give one of April's paintings for a loved one, April would only be too happy to help. Alternatively if you would like a pencil portrait of a loved one or friend this is also possible. April will be adding a new page to this website for you to browse. In the meantime information about portraits will be added to the commissions page in March.

"Selection Box" An art exhibition with a sweet intention
9th Feb - 1st March in Kilrush Library
My second solo exhibition is in full swing at Kilrush Lirbary showing 30 paintings of chocolate/sweets. 20% of ALL paintings will help to raise valuable funds for the Children's Medical & Research Fund at Our Lady's Children's Hospital in Dublin. Please do drop in and see the paintings. Ends Thursday 1st March 2012
Some paintings have sold, but if you see your favourite has a red dot beside it, don't worry. April may be able to paint it again for you.
Help a child in 2012
These paintings of popular brands of chocolate are very collectable and can now only be purchased directly from the artist. They come signed and with a certificate of authenticity. Framed in black with complimentary gold inner edges. You won't see these in any galleries or shops anywhere.
But the best thing about them is that for each one sold, April will donate 20% of the sale price to the Children's Medical & Research Foundation at Our Lady's Children's Hospital Crumlin So if you spend €300 you'll make a donation of €60 possible. If you spend €250 that will mean a donation of €50. How great is that!

Commission a chocolate painting of your choice and size
April's chocolate paintings are currently painted on board, framed and come in two small sizes of 10"x12" and 12"x16". However if you would like something for a larger wall space and would prefer a larger version and on box canvas, April would be very happy to create one of your choice and size.

Selection Box
